Akira Sato

Mr. Sato is an English speaking professional tour guide based in Kyoto with more than 30 years of experience. Though he lives in Kyoto, he has travelled all over Japan guiding many people from all over the world and it has always been his pleasure. He also plays country music and is the main vocalist of Kyoto-based C&W group called “The Angel Band.” So, he truly calls himself a singing tour guide.

Masako Hiroishi

Ms. Hiroishi has been a professional tour guide in English since 1977 and in French since 1991. She loves Japanese culture and traditions in general. Particularly, having a history of watching Kabuki for nearly 40 years, she is very happy to show oversea visitors around its cradle, Kyoto. Her favorite drink is green tea, a local specialty of Uji, a southern suburb of Kyoto where she was born and brought up.

Ikuko Nakagaki

Ms. Nakagaki has been a professional tour guide in English since 1978. She also has enjoyed a long career as a professional Chinese speaking tour guide, too. She loves her native town Kobe but has toured all over Japan with people from all over the world. She is very good at making her own kind of pearl accessories. Kazuo Momiyama

Mr. Momiyama has been a professional tour guide in English since 1978. He is a native Kyotoite, born and raised in Kyoto. He wants you to enjoy his native town by walking in the most interesting part of the town with him. He keeps a Japanese Shiba dog and loves her as though she was his child. He is a great fan of The Beatles but recently has enjoyed listening to every sort of Opera.

Kiyotaka Kondo

Mr. Kondo has been a professional tour guide in English since 1982. He lives in the suburbs of Kyoto.
He keeps a huge Newfoundland at home. His knowledge about Japan is quite broad but his favorite subject is Buddhism. His favorite drink is beer. He says he might not be a good Buddhist but he surely is a good tour guide. He also loves walking and chatting and looks forward to seeing you soon.
